All families are different, you know as well as I do that this journey we’ve embarked on is one of trial and error and there is no ‘right’ way to go about raising your child, especially when struggling with mental health issues. What works for me and my kids may not work for everybody.
I want to create a community of like-minded parents suffering from similar struggles to help each other out and offer their experiences and advice. I am looking for parents with excellent written English and a story to tell, whether that be a parent fail, a stress-free activity idea, a tip for dealing with OCD in family life or anything else that you think would fit perfectly on OCDMinds.
It doesn’t matter if you’re coping with a newborn, navigating teenagers or dealing with your chicks that have flown the nest. I want to use this platform to help others cope with all aspects of OCD parenthood.
Articles submitted should be well written and in line with other content on OCD Minds, any advice offered should be to the best of your knowledge and not purposefully sabotage another parent’s journey.
For more information on how you can join us, please get in touch with a suitable article pitch.
