Consulting Services

Consulting services incorporate Exposure Response Prevention, Psychoeducation, and Motivational Coaching. I help families and individuals unpack what is interfering with accessing treatment, and connect families to strategies and resources.

Coaching Vs. Therapy

I utilize methodology honed from years of OCD clinical practice. However, my work is not meant to be a replacement for therapy. If therapy is the advisable intervention, I will help the individual or the family find OCD specialists in their geographical area.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • As a consultant, I unfortunately am unable to collaborate with your insurance. However, I offer limited sliding scale slots for qualifying individuals.

  • OCD is a very niche field. Few mental health or even medical professionals have sufficient training in, or understanding of, OCD. When OCD is at play, regular therapeutic interventions may not work. Talk therapy is incredibly ineffective for OCD, and in some cases can make OCD worse. As your OCD consultant, I will help you access the strategies and resources that will make a difference.

  • Hands down, Exposure Response Prevention (ERP) is the best treatment for OCD. ERP can be augmented with Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and I-CBT (Inference-based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy). Furthermore, parental and loved one reduction of accommodations helps along the process substantially.

  • “Natalia is a true professional who takes her clients and their needs very seriously, and knows how to help them. I have had the privelege of working with her in a variety of ways. Our community is fortunate to have this OCD/anxiety resource, and I know where to send families who need this support.”

  • Natalia has been wonderful to work with. She has helped my twins overcome their fear of dogs in just a few short weeks, and we are so grateful to have found her as a resource and therapist. I highly recommend her for helping adolescents manage their fears and anxiety.
